On this date, a Great Fisherman was Born...

Though it's finally cooling off and summer is officially over, the fishing action with Capt. Larry is getting hotter as the temperatures get colder! Check out Josh Riley, below, with his first kingfish. Josh caught this beast, recently with a sardine on a flatline during a family trip. He and family also caught grouper and snapper while on their charter.

Josh is clearly tickled pink by his first kingfish, as catching a large fish unlike others previously caught is an exciting thing in and of itself... not to mention they have that toothy, fearsome grin that has them often being confused w/ barracudas!

And to the left, is Christine Buffington, with her first amberjack, equally excited. She caught this feisty fish and a passel of other fish, while using pinfish in 150 ft, offshore of Anna Maria Island while fishing with Show Me The Fish Charters.


Though it wasn't his first red grouper, you can see the look of pure, unadulterated happiness beaming from Charles Constantino's face, as he holds his LARGEST red grouper he has ever caught, in the picture below! It was his first off Anna Maria Island. Charles was on a break from the Norwich Military Academy, and is now back in school and on his way to become another one of Americas great hero's Capt. Larry was glad he could show Charles a fantastic time out fishing, in appreciation for his laudable goals & aspirations.
A fishing trip is also a fun & out of the ordinary way to celebrate a birthday... Like the title of this posting suggests, today is Capt. Larry's birthday!
