Bachelor Party on the Beach!

The offshore action has been absolutely awesome this week, and actually the previous six weeks, have all been phenomenal. The extraordinary trips Capt. Larry has been taking his charters on, have been coming back flush with red snapper, now that the season is open. On Show Me The Fish Charters, anglers are working depths from 125 ft to 160 ft offshore of Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key catching lots of firetruck red grouper- up to 25 lbs, mahi-mahi, plentiful porgies, large sharks, toothy barracudas, & catch and release gag grouper. . Live and cut bait all producing.
The big boy fish have been poppin' offshore. Pictured above is Parker Dalla (left), serving in the US Air Force, and David Kiel (right), a Marine, holding a nice blacktip shark they caught. These warriors were in town for Parker's wedding on the beach, and also caught more sharks, amberjacks, red and mangrove snappers and a bonus of 48 large flag yellowtail snappers... all while fishing in about 170 ft.

To the right is Catch of the Week! It's a patriotic American Red Snapper, held & caught by 12 yr old Rocky Finerty, from Wilmington Delaware. On that trip, they caught their limit of red snappers, a pair of 7 lb mangrove snappers, grouper and amberjack. Rocky carries his name very well, as he was Capt. Larry's "Go To" man on that trip. Note: Capt. Larry specializes in helping the inexperienced, children, ladies 'out fish' the men on the trip that HAVE fished before.
